How often do you think about how you walk? This ongoing Feldenkrais series invites you to explore one of the most fundamental things we do — with fresh eyes, a curious mind, and a lot more ease. Through guided movement lessons, you'll discover how small, subtle shifts in awareness can transform the way you move through the world.
Over the course of the series, you can expect to :
Discover how your whole body — from your feet to your head — contributes to effortless, flowing movement
Develop a finer awareness of your habitual movement patterns and gently expand what's possible
Explore how the swing of your arms, the rotation of your pelvis, and the length of your spine all connect to create smooth, efficient walking
Reduce unnecessary tension that gets in the way of natural, comfortable movement
Reconnect with the pleasure of walking — as a felt, embodied experience rather than just a way to get from A to B
Explore solid support from the ground, creating fluidity in your hip joints, effortless co-ordination between torso and pelvis, and easy connections throughout your whole body
Each session builds on the last, so awareness deepens progressively over time
Suitable for all ages and abilities

There are yoga mats at the centre but do feel free to bring your own.
I now record these sessions and send the lesson via Wetransfer after class.
NB: Give yourself time to arrive. I have to lock the door to the Centre so it’s not possible to arrive late and join in. Text me in good time if you have an issue.

Moving Through Menopause
COMING IN 2026
Online 6 week series on Zoom
Wednesday evenings 7-8.15pm 25th Feb to 1st April 2026
Whole series £60 (no drop in available) 30% discount if you have attended this series before (£42)
During the perimenopause and menopause women often experience joint pain and stiffness as well as increased levels of anxiety, low mood, difficulties sleeping and often a lack of enjoyment in ourselves and moving. In this series you can get to know yourself again, to check in, take some much needed time and attention to move and explore. There’s no need to rush or hurry, don’t hold your breath or pull your belly in. Just sink into the floor and welcome yourself back home.
We will look at strategies to calm and soothe your nervous system, move your pelvis with greater ease including clarifying your base of support (often referred to as pelvic floor functioning), movement & alignment of your spine from head to tail as well as freeing your shoulders, neck and upper back.
Previous participant on the benefits of these classes “I continue to use these lessons. I’m no longer peeing myself and my sex life has improved. Why would I not!” Participant 2025
You’ll need floor space where you won’t be interrupted, a mat or blanket to lie on, a chair and folded towels. All classes are recorded and will be sent via Wetransfer after the class.
Suitable for beginners as well as those with prior experience.
